CE Software, Inc. Reports First-Quarter Results West Des Moines, Iowa, February 17, 2003 -- CE SOFTWARE, INC. (OTCBB Symbol: CESW) today announced results for its first quarter ended December 31, 2002. CE Software reports a net loss of $118,000, or $0.08 per share, for its first quarter of fiscal 2003 on revenues of $345,000. For the same quarter a year ago, the company reported a net loss of $162,000, or $0.11 per share, on operating revenues of $348,000. "The company's revenues were approximately the same as a year ago, but the expense reductions during the past twelve months resulted in a reduced loss," said John S. Kirk, president of CE Software, Inc. "In the next few months we anticipate the release of a major upgrade to our desktop productivity product, QuicKeys X for Mac OS X."
