CE Software, Inc. Reports Second-Quarter ResultsWest Des Moines, Iowa, May 15, 2002 -- CE SOFTWARE, INC. (OTCBB Symbol: CESW) today announced financial results for its second quarter ended March 31, 2002. CE Software reports a net loss of $32,000, or $0.02 per share, for the quarter. The same quarter a year ago saw a net loss of $272,000, or $0.23 per share. Revenues were $449,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2002, compared to $400,000 for the same quarter a year ago. "The release of QuicKeys X for the Macintosh OS X operating system in October 2001 and the upgrade for QuickMail in January 2002 have helped increase our revenues. We are pleased with our customers9 acceptance of these products," said John S. Kirk, president. "In April we released an upgrade for QuicKeys for Windows."
