CE Software, Inc. Reports Third-Quarter Results
West Des Moines, Iowa, August 28, 2003 -- CE SOFTWARE,
INC. (OTC Symbol: CESF) today announced results for its third quarter ended June
30, 2003.
CE Software reports a net loss of $92,000, or $6.32 per share,
for the quarter. The same quarter a year ago saw a net loss of $28,000, or $1.95
per share. Revenues were $283,000 for the quarter ended June 30, 2003, compared to
$432,000 for the same quarter a year ago.
Our financial statements are attached without the notes, since on April 15, 2003
we terminated reporting obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. These
financial statements should be read in conjunction with the most recent 10-QSB and
10-KSB reports that were filed.
"We have a sale of our building and some personal property pending for $1,000,000,"
said John S. Kirk, President. "Closing on the sale is anticipated within sixty
days. We are negotiating with the buyer to lease a portion of the space for our continuing
operations. Management is also investigating a corporate action that would result
in the liquidation of the corporation and a sale of the continuing operations. A
buy-out by one or more of the current employees has been proposed to the Board of
Directors."
